Biography

Hilary Knutson is an artist and arts administrator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Sculpture) with distinction from the Alberta College of Art + Design (2007). Creator and Curator of The Instigation Station from 2006-2007, and Director of Stride Gallery from 2007-2009, Hilary is taking a break from full-time administration to focus on her art practice. In times of superior work-life balance, she has been known to produce and exhibit art about Art, lately for 25th Anniversary exhibitions at Artist-Run Centres. Her multidisciplinary practice includes site-specific, sculptural, and interactive works of a conceptual nature.
